Paulette joins Robertson Spinal Rehab with a 38-year history of working in various aspects of the medical office field. She began her career right out of high school in chiropractic, then on to family practice, ophthalmology, cardiology, neurosurgery, and pediatrics.
She attended Oregon School of Massage from 2003-2005 while working as a medical assistant in cardiology and returned to the chiropractic office as a licensed massage therapist in 2006.
During her 11 years in the massage field, she acquired many continuing education courses which included: Healing Hot Stone Massage, Applied Kinesiology, Thai Massage, Chair Massage, Integrated Neuromuscular Therapy, Reiki, Aromatherapy, and Bowen Work. She worked in chiropractic offices, day spas, and as an independent contractor. She enjoyed providing chair massages at the Salem Saturday Market, Holiday Markets, as well as at local businesses and events. Paulette so enjoyed this time and put much energy and her life into her career and found that a break was needed. In 2017, she returned to the medical field.
In 2023 Paulette experienced family loss. This triggered a desire to “live each day to its fullest” and “do what you love” feeling, at which time she realized that was massage therapy. While processing and grieving the loss of her mother she attended Oregon School of Massage to update her credits to re-activate her license with the Oregon state board and in September 2024 she became active and ready to do massage again. She spent this last year of 2024 in independent practice.
She now looks forward to working in tandem with Dr. Robertson-Harris to assist her patients in their wellness journeys. She looks forward to providing a space for patients to relax, release, and renew.
While not in a massage session, Paulette enjoys spending time quilting, crafting, gardening, walking the dog, and camping or flying with her husband and new puppy Daphne Eloise the Bassett Hound.
